How it's pronounced
"miqro" is pronounced exactly like "micro" —
/ˈmīkrō/, MY-kroh. The q is a visual
signature; it does not change how the word is said. The same prefix
applies across all four names: MY-kroh-design,
MY-kroh-manage.
The "q", not a "c"
The deliberate q is the brand's trademark signature and the reason all four names cluster as one family. We chose it for three reasons:
- It's defensible. "micro" is a generic Greek-rooted prefix anyone can use; "miqro" is a coined mark.
- It's distinctive. Once you've seen it spelled with a q, you don't forget it. That's the whole point of a brand name.
- It separates us from a verb. "Micromanage" is an English verb with a strongly negative connotation. We do the opposite — we build systems that run on their own and stay out of the way. The spelling difference is the first signal of that intent.
Miqrodesign is not microdesign
