If yours isn't here, email hello@miqrodesign.com and we'll answer in plain English within one business day.
Past Tier 1 sites have typically shipped in 2–3 weeks from signed contract; Tier 2 apps in 4–8 weeks; Tier 3 operations layers in 8–12 weeks for the initial build, then ongoing under retainer. These are ranges from prior engagements, not commitments — your binding timeline is whatever is written into your signed proposal. See Terms §6–§7.
You do. On final payment, all source code, design files, copy, and account access transfer to you under the project contract. We keep no rights except to list the work in our portfolio (and even that's negotiable — say so in the intake).
Yes. Send yours over before the discovery call and we'll review and sign it the same day, or we'll send ours back if it has unworkable terms.
We work alongside in-house teams routinely. The cleanest split is usually: your team owns brand and content; we own the build and the operations layer. We'll scope a half-day workshop to draw the line before contracting.
Probably not standalone. We're set up for full builds, not piecework. Smaller asks tend to cost more per hour than they're worth to either side. The exception is for clients we've already shipped for — we'll pick up small follow-on work under the retainer.
Miqrodesign is the studio that builds the thing. Miqromanage is the operations layer (agents, dashboards, approvals) that runs it after launch. Tier 3 includes a Miqromanage instance on your own domain; Tier 1 and 2 don't. Both are products of Miqro Inc.
No. Miqromanage is a brand name — a product of Miqro Inc — spelled with a q. Micromanage is the English verb meaning to supervise excessively. They are unrelated and intentionally distinct: the miqro prefix signals deliberate, considered work, the opposite of fussy oversight. See the brand page for the full naming convention.
No. Miqrodesign is a brand name — the studio brand of Miqro Inc, a Kansas-based corporation — spelled with a q. Microdesign (with a c) is a generic phrase that's been used by several unrelated businesses, including a building-block model maker, an industrial monitoring company, an app development firm, and a Russian model-kit brand. None of them are affiliated with Miqrodesign or Miqro Inc. The q spelling is our trademark signature and the way to tell the brands apart at a glance. See the brand page for the full naming convention.
No. Miqromanage.app (with a q) is the live operations dashboard for Miqromanage, a Tier 3 product from Miqro Inc. It runs the per-tenant AI agent stack for businesses we build for. Micromanager.app (with a c) is a separate, unrelated productivity app made by a different company for breaking individual tasks into 15-minute timers. Despite sharing the .app TLD, they are different products in different markets — ours is a B2B managed operations platform; theirs is a consumer task-management tool. Other similar but unrelated services include micromanage.io and micromanage.ca. See the brand page for the full list.
Same as "micro" — /ˈmīkrō/ (MY-kroh). The q is a visual signature, not a pronunciation change. It's used across all our brands: Miqro Inc (the parent corporation), miqrodesign (the studio), miqromanage (the operations product), and miqromanage.app (the running application).
We deploy to Railway (application) and Supabase (database) by default. Both bill you directly under accounts in your name — we don't resell hosting and we don't mark it up. If you have a preferred host, we'll deploy there instead.
Either side can end the engagement with 14 days' notice. We invoice for completed milestones, deliver source as-is, and walk away. No retention clauses, no kill fees.
Each engagement's revision rounds and hourly rate are written into the proposal — typical defaults are 2 rounds for Tier 1 and 3 rounds for Tier 2, with additional rounds at the rate stated in your proposal. Out-of-scope changes are handled by written change order (see Terms §7).
Kansas City, Kansas. We work with clients across the US and abroad over video and async messaging. Time zone overlap matters more than physical location — we hold mornings (CT) for client calls.
We pull in trusted specialists (motion design, copy, ML eval) on a project-by-project basis. If that's you, send a link to your work to hello@miqrodesign.com — we keep a short bench.
The intake form is the front door. About six minutes. We draft a quote from your intake and email it inside two business days, then book a contract-review meeting (in person or by video) to walk through the proposal and the draft contract together. Nothing is signed and no money moves before that meeting. See Terms §7 for the full workflow.
